With over 20 years of dedicated service in geriatrics, Christina is a highly skilled and compassionate Gerontologist committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s in Sociology, a License in Practical Nursing, Master of Science in Gerontology, and a Graduate Certificate in Thanatology, which together provide a holistic understanding of aging and the complex dynamics of eldercare.
During her graduate studies, she completed a rigorous internship at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut, where she worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care specializing in geriatrics. This experience sharpened her expertise in addressing the medical, psychological, and emotional aspects of aging, as well as building strong communication skills for supporting patients and their families during critical transitions.
Since 2002, Christina has built an extensive career as a Gerontologist, specializing in Geriatric Care Management & Consulting Services. She has worked with diverse populations of older adults, helping them navigate challenges such as chronic illnesses, cognitive decline, housing transitions, and end-of-life planning. By focusing on personalized care strategies, Christina empowers older adults to maintain their independence and dignity while providing families with peace of mind and practical guidance.
In addition, Christina recognizes the critical importance of safe and functional living spaces for those older adults who wish to remain at home. Christina recently earned the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation through the National Association of Home Builders. Working alongside contractors she is well-versed in assessing and recommending home modifications that promote safety, comfort, and accessibility for older adults so they can remain at home.
